Daylight.

I have only one class left before the mid semester break, and i could say, i deserve a pat on the back for making it. It is needless to say that my break will end sooner than i think. Good times fly by like a storm. And i hope this one won't.

Though the approaching of the break has been long awaited, i am not looking forward to the part where i have to complete a dozen of assignments. I wish i was exaggerating but i am not. I need to commit.

The Oil People

Talking about commitment in the form of work. The Economics of Oil is a field i am conducting a study on at the moment. Heart and Oil baby :p. Today, has been a productive Friday. My other two group mates, the oil people, were in uni to plaster up some wounds in our study, just to get ready for the reviews tomorrow. It is where our work will be assessed and commented. Am i looking forward to it? Not one bit -_-

Evening.

I took my lady out tonight, with sister. And usual, our outing was pretty random. By 'pretty' , i mean it being attached to it's literal meaning. Whoever said that Brunei is running out of places to go?

The usual places that people hit would be Gadong and Kiulap. We just thought that tonight, we'll not join the crowd. And because of it, I saw what tourists have been seeing.

Bandar, a place i have never thought about going to at night. 'Peacefully Beautiful', were the words combined to describe the night. Bruneians hit this place on a rarity. And plus another reason for us resorting there was that it's the end of the month and you can't possibly deny the fact that Gadong would be swarmed.

We had food to go and we enjoyed our meal by the river by this waterfall structure, facing Kampong Ayer.

But, it doesn't matter where we go, the lady never fails to fix this smile on my face. But guys, if you're finding it hard to catch the best place to just sit and talk with your girl. I'd recommend Bandar. I know i had a wonderful time, and the atmosphere just made it perfect.

Good news for people who love bad news

Tuesdays, as usual. Just another day that i would love to end so quickly. But so much for wishful thinking. The straight lectures from the break of sunlight till the late afternoon was depressing, tiring and not to mention TOO LONG for a person's brain and stomach to take. Tolerating and trying to adjust to this day of the week is just something impossible to do.

Cookies made our day more livable.

On a brighter note, next week is the mid semester break! Which is something that every member of the gang has been waiting for. Plans have been made. Some leaving the country and some even thinking of just sleeping the week away. I WOULD LOVE IT IF ANY OF YOU COULD SUGGEST SOMETHING FUN TO DO. :D

Its another Sunday morning. Another depressing one to be exact. It has been raining and honestly and literally as well, i am getting sick of the cold mornings. Getting in the shower is always the problem. What's the point of getting the water heated when you'll get out of the shower all trembling in places? But, thank goodness, it's never winter here. ;)

Tomorrow, its the day of madness. Because we will be having our mid-semester tests. Time flies by like crazy. LOGIC & THINKING yo! That's the first paper. I have been doing my daily revisions but nonetheless, i still think i'm not ready. Im never ready for Logic. Visited my lecturer a couple of times to clear things up. It helped. But still... 0800-0900, L&T. Not awesome...

I have bad eye sight. That is why i try to avoid driving at night time, only unless... well unless :). This is the reason why a lot of people say I am ambung and that I don't greet the people i know when I bump into them. I am not ignorant of my surroundings. I didn't choose to have a close distance eyesight. It is simply because i'm not able to see people's faces up till they come to a point where they are in my face.

I am not the only person who has this problem. I apologize to my friends or family who implanted in their minds the idea that i chose to ignore them when they saw me around. Being called 'ambung' is not a good thing. And i certainly don't like being labelled as an ambung-er .

We all like to portray ourselves as confident individuals in public. Even when there's uncertainty floating around in our heads.

I am not ambung! I'll prove it. Im gonna tell a story. This is how it goes:

I was walking in a particular place. I was just done visiting the public toilet. Wait! I'll talk about the toilet first.
One of the most famous toilets in Brunei. Very impressive art on the walls. I would certainly think it will help if an individual was excreting undigested food while enjoying the wonderful writings on the wall of the cubicle. Very heartfelt emotions scribbled on the walls, by this person who calls himself 'GOLDEN BOY'.

Anyways, i left the toilet with a the weirdest of smiles. All because, i saw this guy from quite a distance who was waving in my direction. *Looks back* No one was there, so i was certain it was me. He kept on walking towards me, and while so, i was still trying to figure out who this person was. I honestly tried to dig out the the oldest of memories, trying to locate him in my mind. But still failed to..

So we shook hands and i said 'hi'..
Person: Sup? Salah orang pulang aku nie, tapi inda papalah.
Me: OOH OK TU EH! :D Aku si Daus.

We both got in the elevator, and honestly felt like the longest elevator ride ever -_-. Awkward

The study @ UBD event ended today at 5 pm. And i did manage to have some fun and at the same time gained some useful information. The workload, is so to say... alright. Most of it came in the last few hours, when we had to wrap the whole section up, although we did have trouble trying to figure out where to keep the tall standing balloon pillars~. I wonder where they could be right now. Shai the pumpung boy, was worried that it might get stolen if placed at the faculty. Well, i just want the big ones on top. -_-

I got to answer a few questions forwarded about my course. I think i did well in passing them on to my lecturers. The point being, i am a freshie and for that fact, i was unsure and my fear of giving misleading information got the best of me. To lead them to the lecturers should be the best solution and i did just that. :P

On top of all that, i did have fun. And this headache came from the work i have to complete tonight. Sigh~. This isn't the type of rest i was looking for. Anyways, Microeconomics shoult be interesting.

I wasn't the only one busy. Daisy was too, entertaining the FBEPS table was her chance to be in the spotlight. FAMOUS LAPTOP KU YO!!! And suci! :D For the vainies, i bet you didn't know that there was a photobooth at the FBEPS stall. You missed out but my seniors didn't.Photobooth operation. Semasa saya berjalan ke faculty mbali coke, Daisy telah diperkosa. Siap bereffect lagi tu -_-


And after the event, i had to take awhile to chill with Temari and her bestfriend. We had a good laugh over a couple of cigarettes. Jangan inda nya orang. Overall, it was a great day, and i would not mind having another. Definitely. BUT apa kan daya~, kerja melimpah dalam laptop and i will now go back to Maslow and Drucker -_-. Mankiv would be tagging along to join in the fun.

But i think very kesian this girl. She kambang-kambang again she always speaking at home. How that? And it's so cute how she's so confident about herself being scholarship material. Comel! Comel hantap!
She expressed views that she should have kept inside, on the web, which was obviously discovered! ARAH FRIENDSTER WAH YOOO!!! Poof! Poof!

i really want to continue my study in UK, i really do not want to study in UBD because i have pride and because the damn UBD only provide us limited course. thus the output, jobs are not looking for us but us looking desperately and pathetically looking for jobs in the future. that is why i don't want to be in UBD.
nowadays, government and even private sectors look for oversea graduates because overseas have a lot of courses which could help Brunei's economy and status.UBD? akhir akhir jadi teacher saja. buang masa and i really don't want to be a teacher.
my face went ugly and red when i went to UBD to buy the damn forms. i really don't want to be in it. but my mum said we just have to fill it in case, IN CASE, i don't have a scholarship. yes i am applying for scholarship. my course? communication or law or social psychology. AMIN tah aku dapat scholarship. malu banar ku belajar di ubd ah. MALU.

Hello, once again. I am here to inform you guys that the 'STUDY @ UBD' will be held starting tomorrow which is Saturday and the following day which is Sunday with the University's Chancellor hall as its venue. During daylight of course!

For applicants applying for a place in the university are encouraged to turn up, for any inquiries concerning the course selection. Well, this is especially for those who are thinking of joining the Faculty of Business, Economics and Policy Studies. FBEPS~ I proudly say, it is the most fancy area part of the hall with BLACK as it's theme~.

Friday, my idea of boredom. The only thing i'm committed to in this day of the week is the Friday prayers.
Today, on my walk back home from the mosque, i came across this truck, kan keluar simpang lah. I was taking my sweet time walking to the rhythm of my heartbeat. This big sand-carrying vehicle was right in front of me, it wasn't facing my direction, but it was in a manner that the exhaust pipe was. This truck was just waiting for the opportunity for it to get out and into the main road. I was walking towards that thing and suddenly, asap wah yo ke muka ku. -_-. You know it was the minute when i began to enjoy the walk. The day wasn't so hot, it was partly cloudy, with fine breeze, and that bugger smoked me. Just awesome, when i was just thinking of taking a good deep breath.
Anyways, very pointless post innit? :D

Tonight, i was busy celebrating, i came across this disturbing news. It is so ridiculous, you wouldn't believe your eyes.
Apparently, we're not allowed to beria in public toilets anymore. I don't know whats the matter, but people should know that 'WHEN YOU NEED TO DO IT, YOU JUST GOTTA PUMP IT OUT!' Its bad enough that the toilets maintenance is not up to the beria-able toilet standard. I guess it explains why it started.

AMAZING? NO?

On a Rainy Monday

BONSOIR!!! :D Its been a while since i've opened with a French greeting!

The only description for today would only come with 2 words, COLD and WET! The sun was given no room at all to shine today. And i have my own regretting to do. It is to not wear a long sleeved shirt. But i made it through the day. I wasn't surprised about that fact though, it was smiles throughout. Last night's drive still fresh on my mind. :)

Nevertheless, i was tired. I had back to back classes from 8-2. I'm glad i got my online registration settled. That took me a while to complete. Today, i wasn't ready to let anything to hold me back, simply because it was the last day and to not get it settled would mean to say goodbye to $50. AND I AM SAFE PEOPLE!! :D

After 6 hours of fighting hunger, we were finally free. To eat, to walk and to breathe. So GSL offered to sushi. So i thought to myself; 'i guess i tortured myself long enough, nothing wrong with having good lunch :).' Mac Blogger has a thing for Japanese food, like the rest of the crew, couldn't resist the offer. I on the other hand, just wanted a Chicken Teriyaki Don, and vowed not to touch anything on the train. And i successfully didn't, even the wax man inside. :)

The fisherman hat is Fatin's. Mac Blogger borrowed as he thought an English weather would be perfect for fishing.

An implemented policy took action on me for the second time today. It was something that i wasn't even aware going on in the country. Apparently, we have to present our identification cards in the process of purchasing cigarettes. Well, not if you look old enough, but in my case, it could only mean one thing... I AM SOOOOO NOT SHAVING!!!

This law indicates that whoever caught selling to an under age adolescent(below 18), would be fined $B5000(or was it $B500? :S). Well, the same goes to the unfortunate kid. I think it is a good thing as we witness more and more kids picking up this smoking habit. But that is all to be assumed in a perfect hypothetical world. :P But bravo! We all have to start somewhere, don't we?

I have a couple of assignments to complete. Nothing i can't handle. And back to Mondays as a topic. Its not too bad of a day as the world exaggerates it to be, the only bad thing is that tomorrow's a Tuesday. A mind blowing, tummy torturing Tuesday. Back to being diligent for me -_-. I just have to depend on time now as a runaway.

Its true when they say UNI unites~.I have this bunch of people i hang out with who are apparently good at what they do. Colouring the faculty up brightly, even on a rainy Monday. I swear they can cure a headache. I see them as Painkillers on legs. :P

SELF DISCIPLINE... it's sick!
I am here to highlight how one may find difficulty in committing to self discipline. You can make an argument as sound as it can be, but there's no denying that SD~ should be implemented in completing our daily life timetables.

Where do we need it? Regardless of it being in the smallest of things like doing your bed to ethics in conducting work, i myself have to put on a silent disappointment face when failing to colour my doings with this SD phenomena. But motivation talkers keep on emphasizing on this shit being as simple as smiling for the camera.

My uni work is piling up, but it isn't my fault. I have been doing them religiously, trust me. But at the rate at they keep being assigned to us, it wont make life any easier on me. Due dates are quite a distance from now. The circled dates are on the next page of the calendar. But i've got my blueprints ready*atu pun payah payah*.

I am fine when it comes to that because i have agreed with my inner self to be committed to uni. Well up to a certain extent plang tu~. But i'm ok, i do my daily readings :). The thing i am worried about is my room. I wanna be committed to my room, in terms of tidying it. It can get messy, but i have just cleaned it. How is it now? Well it depends on individual judgements on what can be seen as clean. I guess it's fine for now.

But this one thing really gets me going if i start, its when i press the 'carwasher mode' button. -_-. I can't help but make it shine! AARRRGGGHHHHH!!!
